Sahir Lodhi – Helping the underprivileged people




Lately, the internet was going crazy about a few pictures. It was pictures of a crowd outside a clinic. The people present there told that the clinic provides free of cost medical services and medicines and that is why a large number of people stand outside daily to get treated. They also mentioned the clinic to be owned by Sahir Lodhi Foundation which is run solely by Sahir Lodhi himself.

This arose curiosity among people and they wanted to know whether or not it actually belongs to Sahir Lodhi. After a few days, Sahir Lodhi’s tweets came out which cleared all the confusions.


 

  
As we got deeper into the matter, we found out many more things. The clinic is located in a slum area of Karachi where quality health-care is an unreachable luxury. However, at the clinic the services are provided free of cost along with the medicines. Around 200 tokens are provided on a daily basis through which the patients can avail the services. Due to the lack of electricity, the clinic runs full-time on a generator.
The doctor present at the clinic is a senior general physician at Jinnah Medical Hospital, hence, the quality of the services is reliable as well. The patients at the clinic seemed to be very happy and satisfied about the services available at the clinic.  

Working for the underprivileged people in today’s world is something hardly anyone does. Sahir Lodhi is a renowned host/actor and it is extremely humble and generous of him to be thinking of the poor people. Keeping in mind that SLF is run solely by Sahir Lodhi, it is Sahir’s humbleness and sense of humanity that he is doing so much for the poor people of the country.

Sahir Lodhi Biography

Sahir Lodhi was born on  21st May , in the town of Karachi, Pakistan. Family Sahir is a second child of Ali Gohar Lodhi and Roshan Taj Lodhi among four children. He has a sister and two brothers, including him there are three. The eldest one is Aamir Lodhi. The youngest one is Tahir Lodhi. He owns a routing company.
